Welcome to Harvey Mudd College’s Applicant Portal

The applicant portal is the gateway for exploring and applying for staff employment opportunities. In order to be considered for a staff position at Harvey Mudd College, you must submit an application and other documents that may be required. You will be able to create an applicant account, an online application and upload a cover letter, resume and other documents as needed. Your application materials may be edited and re-submitted to apply for each position in which you have an interest. Once an application has been submitted for a specific position, you will be able to review the position’s status at any time by logging into your account.

New Users

  • To search positions, click the Search Jobs link on the navigation bar.
  • To apply for a job, click the Create Account link on the navigation bar, then search jobs. You will be prompted to create an application if you have not done so before.

Returning Users

  • Click the Login link on the navigation bar, and enter your username and password.
  • This enables you to:
    • Edit your existing account settings.
    • Apply to new jobs.
    • Review the status of positions for which you have applied.
    • Email postings to a friend.

General Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and, depending on job requirements, an acceptable driving record that satisfies HMC's automobile liability insurer's requirements. Certain positions require a functional capacity test. Successful job applicants will be required to complete an I-9 Form and submit documents that verify identify and the legal right to work in the United States.
